Asian Music and Dance Summer School
Monday 26th to Friday 30th July from 10am to 3.30pm
Venue: Dominion Arts Education Centre, 112 The Green, Southall, Middx, UB2 4BQ

Age Range: 7-15

An Asian Music and Dance Summer School open to young musicians from both within and outside London.There will be a masterclass environment with expert tuition from renowned artists in Indian violin, tabla, Indian singing, sitar and kathak dance.There will also be an opportunity to learn Balinese and Javanese dance, Thai music and Balinese gamelan with prominent musicians in the field.Artists will include Pandit Sharda Sahai (tabla), Andy Channing (Balinese gamelan) and musicians from the Thai Music Circle.

The summer school will accommodate those will little or no experience in the area.

Fee: £50 per child for 5 day course (£25 with Free School Meals eligibility)
