The concert was held at the Oberoi Towers Hotel at Nariman point, the most southern tip of Mumbai. The audience started arriving after 9pm and anticipation of the forthcoming concert was building. There was a real buzz going around the reception. Then as the time approached, the audience was directed into the Banqueting hall, with drinks in hand. After a few short speeches, on came Trilok Gurtu, accompanied by the singers Roopkumar Rathod and Mridula Desai, flautist Ronu Majumdar, santoor player Satish Vyas, sitarist Ravi Chary, Sarosh Izedyar on guitar and Sanjay Wandrekar on Keyboards. Trilok got the evening of to a phenomenal start and played hits like Jhoolelal, Maya and Brindavan Dance. After a wonderful 90 mins performance by Trilok Gurtu, the Bollywood Musician/Composer & Pop star Adnan Sami, known as the 'fastest keyboard player in the world' came on with his band to perform.
