Museum & Archive

In the museum that is opening later this year, there will be thematic exhibitions, displaying some of the over 100 musical instruments that we own.

Visitors wishing to research a particular topic more deeply, can visit our Archive Room , where they can access our extensive collection of audio-visual resources and study in a quiet environment.

The museum will also feature the interactive ‘Sensor Room' , where you can use your body and create music with beams of sound.

Location

We are located in Acton, West London, near Acton Park. Click here for map and directions.

Opening hours

The Centre will officially open later this year. Currently it is open during events. General visits to the museum or to access the archives is by appointment only, subject to availability of the materials requested.
