Payvar Ensemble

Maestro Payvar was one of the greatest Santur players and composers to come out of Iran. He created an extensive repertoire of compositions for Santur and Ensemble, pioneering a whole new style of ensemble playing. The Payvar Ensemble was one of the first established ensembles in Iran and was inspirational to many other ensembles established thereafter.
